Zoe's Kitchen Cedar Park

August 18, 2014-My family and I didn't have anything to eat at our house, so we went out to eat at Zoe's Kitchen. It was more like a cafe and it had lots of healthy foods.
Trying Pita Bread...kinda dry without something to dip it in
  • Restaurant Climate: It was a casual restaurant. The guy that took our order was really nice.  He even liked the Houston Texans and not the Cowgirls!  He asked if it was our first time and since it was he gave my dad an order of hummus for free!
  • Tomato Bisque Soup with Pita Bread

Service: They got my soup out in about
minutes. They got my food out in about 10 minutes.

Lunch at Clay's

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

When my grandma got home from a half day at work, she was hungry so we went to Clay's Restaurant.  It was made with lots of wood to make it look Western.  Lots of big and small antiques.

FRONT OF RESTAURANT

  • Restaurant climate:  Very, very casual.
  • Service:  It only took them 12 minutes to get the food out to us.
  • Food:  I had a sandwich called Turkey Club and a side of garlic mashed potatoes.  The sandwich was big and it was hard to put in my mouth.  The mashed potatoes were very yummy.

Hasta la Pasta in Katy, TX for my Grandfather's Birthday

Yesterday, August 9, 2014, we went out to dinner for my grandpa's 68th birthday.  We went to Hasta la Pasta.  Hasta la Pasta serves Italian food.  It is good for a nice, casual dinner for couples and families.

Front of the restaurant

  • Host/Hostess:  5-star rating.  Very friendly.
  • Restaurant climate:  It was very casual.
  • Service:  I personally thought it was a 5-star rating.  It was very fast and it only took about 20 minutes to bring the food out.  Refilling drinks was not a problem.

Lasagna

Ravioli
Food:  I tried lasagna and ravioli.  The ravioli was very warm and it was very cheesy.  The lasagna was warm but for me there was too much sauce and was a little soggy.

  • Dessert: I tried key lime pie and crème brulee.  The key lime pie was very tart and the crème brulee was soft and had a nice crunch at the top.

  • Restrooms:  I thought the restrooms were a 5-star rating.  They had hot water; it was very clean; they had a place for changing the baby's diaper; and they also had a handicap stall.
